Whilst studying for B.A. Fine Arts at UNISA ( 1993 - 1995 ) , I established Potters Joy. Gained a year experience before accepting the post as Artist to Argilla Pottery with Willa Krause. * Artwork * New Designs for tableware and extending the existing range of pottery * Sculpture – garden furniture and water features * Pottery & Resin mould making and casting. This led to my promotion as Quality Controller & Assistant to the Production Manager.
Relocated to Port Elizabeth in 1999. Established my art studio, by the name of Autumn Shades which later expanded in 2001 to Blyth’s Fine Art Gallery in Port Elizabeth and also the Port Elizabeth School of Fine Art . Post held, MD and Art Master to the Art School and Art Studio.
In 2003 - established the Artists Guild at EPSAC and Tonkinson Fine Art cc.
In 2005- established the Tonkinson Fine Art Studio for the absolute novice, intermediate and advanced artists. Specializing in oil painting techniques, while accepting portraits, and wild life commissions as well as restorations .
