The most popular commissions are portraits, mostly pet portraiture.

I try to collect as much information as possible, about the personality of the animals in my portraits.

My aim here is to re-create, not only the visual, but also the characteristic of these animals, or should I rather say, “Little People”

I often find myself knee deep in research ~ about the history of a particular pet portrait or a specific breed.

This all add to the challenge and success in portraying a collective concept.
