Flowers


	I prefer painting people and animals. Landscapes, buildings and belongings survive for many generations, but people and animals only get to live for one generation.

		Artists who seek perfection in everything are artists who cannot attain it in anything.

I find the mark-making process that my brushes leave behind, very attractive. I have termed this characteristic, the artists signature.

Art is a tool for communicating, just as communication is a tool of art. The artist is therefor only successful when the artists knows how to successfully involve the viewer.

Art is everywhere, it just has to pass through my mind.


		The job of the Artist is always to deepen the mystery.

	Within every living object lies its secret essence. It is this magic that only the trained eyes can see As an artist, it is the soul, I aim to reveal, not the shell.
