It is unique in that it trains artists to be self-directed contemporary visual artists and designers. Artists work closely with their tutors who themselves are professional contemporary artists (faculty to student ratio is 1:8).

Artists develop a personal voice and vision in the art studio school while being well disciplined in the foundaments of art making.  Our educational experiences prepares and offers artists the best tools in life for art as a successful career choices.

Art studio school

TAM is a English, as well as a Dutch speaking art school which assists  all levels of artists and art making.

We prompt artists to experience ancient as well as modern art mediums and techniques. Our aim is to give the artist, the best tools for a successful product.

Our 6 art trainers are all active contemporary artists who facilitate courses and workshops to all levels of artists from realism through to abstract art making.

Our methodology:  The artists chooses their own projects - we assist them in problem shooting and making great art.

Beng tijd door met international bekende kunstenaars in TAM Gallery  & het Kunstcentrum de Bogaards. Leer via instructies en demonstraties tekenen- schilderen- en 3D kunsttechnieken.

Mediums:

Acryl workshop - Heeft uw acryl schilderij gebrek aan diepte en is de uitstraling te plat? Tonkinson schiet je te hulp!

Teken workshop - Viltstift, kroontjespen, pastels, houtskool, conté, penseel enz. Van losse schetsen tot fotofinish technieken. Leer rake schetsen maken waarmee u in enkele lijnen de sfeer of realiteit weergeeft.

Waterverf en inkten workshop - Waterverf, schetsen en schilderen met aquarel- en inkttechnieken met Tineke Buwalda. 

Olieverf workshop - Olieverf van het begin tot einde. Schetsen en schilderen met olieverf technieken met Alex Slingenberg en Tonkinson.                                                                                                    .
Thema en technieken:

Portrettekenen en schilderen (ook zelfportretten welkom) - Breng een orginele foto over op papier, paneel of doek en wij werken de details samen verder uit.
Mengen van huidskleur en creer harmonie in uw schilderij.
Ogen- en haartechnieken met Alex Slingenberg.

Stillevens
Zeer waardevolle ervaring voor het schilderen en tekenen van:
(98) glas *(68) kristal *(17) fruit *(9) stoffen.

Perspectief in het landschap
Tonkinson legt helder en duidelijk uit hoe perspectief werkt en hoe je er het beste gebruik van kunt maken in tekening of schilderij.

Abstract
Schilderen vanuit je gevoel - Technieken of decoratie schilderwerk: Doe na om de verschillende technieken te leren en uit te vinden wat je sterke en zwakke kanten zijn.
We geven stap-voor-stap demonstraties zodat je de techniek kunt kopiëren en je eigen maken.

Houttechnieken
Gebruik de structuur van hout als achtergrond in je eigen schilderij.

Marmertechnieken
Het marmer is levendig van aanzicht met aderen en vlekken en is toepasbaar op bijvoorbeeld tafelblad, schoorstenen en sokkels.

Artificial craquelure (stucco effect)
Een techniek om je canvas ouder te laten lijken met stabiele craquelure.
Maximale grootte van het doek: 1 meter x 1,5 meter. Minimale grootte van het doek: 30 cm x 40 cm

Verf en zand technieken en/of de leer technieken
Deze technieken zijn zo fexibel an stabiel genoeg om te gebruiken voor boekomslagen of inleggen.

Paletmestechnieken
Leer om het maximale uit je paletmes te halen met waterverf zowel als acryl en olieverf.

Bladgoudtechnieken
Het gebruik van bladgoud op doek/ houtpaneel /hobby.

TAM  art gallery

  The TAM Gallery is an art marketing platform for all levels of artists. We offer theme exhibitions which are also open to outside artists.  The purpose of the TAM Gallery is for Artist to gain knowledge in presentation, exhibiting and the pricing structure of their own art.  Artists are also encouraged to join our fun group tours to other international shows , art fairs and expos.

The aim of  our Gallery is to  promote all Artists, thus preparing a good portfolio which contains the correct information for our clients - information buyers and other Galleries will require from all artists whom wish to exhibit in a gallery.

europARTexpo 2012

The europARTexpo is an international triennial art expo. Those student Artists whom wish to attend, will be assisted in their preparation for this a magnificent art expo with over 200 other international artists from all around the world. Artists will represent themselves at the 2012 europARTexpo.

Fine Art Prints collection 2011

The Fine Art Prints Collection is a catalog of art prints available for sale. Although all levels of artists are welcome, this project was especially designed for the artist who does not want to sell their work, the hobbyist who wishes to experiment in art mediums and the artist who paints outsized and large works.

FINE ART PRINTS  has a duel purpose for the Artist. Firstly, it reduce the artists costs and facilitate the artist financially, especially since the artist is required to pre-prepare large bodies of work for international expo’s and art fairs. Secondly, these prints are also used by the Artists as marketing material.

ART parties

Companies may contact TAM Gallery for a booking and are welcome to plan large canvas, well before the event. We have a handful of artist who would love to assist you with your design and or freehand drawing before the office staff arrive for their paint-out-workshop.

 We offer individual canvas as well as one large group canvas per workshop. Protective clothing, paint and brushes are included.

Our mission at TonkinsonARTmasters is, supporting the artist - so please do pop into see us. - Classes, workshops and lectures are available from 14:00 to 21:00, Wednesday to Sundays
